The West Siang district is the largest Police district in the state. West Siang Police has been discharging its duties of prevention and detection of crime and maintenance of law & order situation with utmost care, dedication and sensitivity. West Siang district is one of the most sensitive districts in whole of Arunachal Pradesh. For improvement of police efficiency and efficacy we have been receiving co-operation from the public of West Siang district. Some of the achievements and initiatives during last one year are mentioned as under:- |

| 1 | There is a significant drop in the Crime rate this year in comparison with that of the previous year. |
| 2 | Opening of Public Grievance (PG) cell. |
| 3 | Toll-free 100 Dial Phone Facility at Aalo, Basar, and Likabali. |
| 4 | Inauguration of Mobile Patrolling by PCR (Gypsy) and motorcycles. |
| 5 | Launching of Community Liaison Group (CLG) and C-Pro (Community - Police Relation Officer) at Aalo. |
| 6 | Women Help Line at SP Office, Aalo. |
| 7 | Human Rights Awareness Programme to sensitize police force. |
| 8 | Traffic Awareness Week was celebrated. |
| 9 | Free Legal Help/Counselling at SP Office, Aalo |
