Education Minister Visits DPDC, Govt. H.S.S. Kamba and DIET Kamki.

Aalo 10th Nov:- The Minister Education Shri Taba Tedir accompanied by Liromoba MLA Shri Nyamar Karbak, West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan, Head of Offices made a day long visits to Govt. H.S. School Kamba, Donyi Polo College Kamki and DIET Kamki and had detail interactions with teachers and students today.
Addressing series of meetings, the Minister disclosed that Govt. is keeping focus and thrust on education and health and it has become imperative for him to go to the grassroots level to know the conditions of school to revamp the system for the larger interest of the student community. He said that the pre board and Board examination for Class V and VIII standards have been reintroduced to arrest the alarming situation and poor performance in CBSE examination in the recent past. He advised the students to lead a drug free life, keep focus on time management and gain all round personality through education. The Minister also stressed on plastic free environment and take Swacchhta Hi Seva to nook and corner of the district. Responding to memorandum submitted by Shri Gekir Karga, Principal H.S.S. Kamba pertaining to shortage of teachers, infrastructure, boundary wall, Compensatory appointment to land donor etc, he assured to look into those problems on priority basis.
The MLA Shri Nyamar disclosed that School Band Party will be introduced in Govt. H.S schools of Liromoba, Kamba, Yomcha and in secondary schools of Darak and Nomuk by outsourcing trainers in the days to come. The DPDC Kamki will be provided one Water Treatment Plant, Solar Streets Lights and girls and boys hostels will be renovated. He disclosed that installation of High Musk Tower, construction of Science Administrative Block without fund placements and effort to introduce PG Course in the college is a concern for the lone college of the district.
The Depty Commissioner West Siang Smti Swetika Sachan urged the students to set goals for them to attain success in life. The Principal of the College Shri Rejir Karlo said that the DPDC Kamki is the 4th largest college in the state and Govt. need to look into its funding and welfare as per its strength and perspective. The college is long due for NET Accreditation but net problem is coming as obstacle to send required documents to UGC and placed a detail memorandum on teachers quarter, Security fencing to control stray animals, posting of Librarian, construction of Auditorium for college, two more High Musk Towers to which Minister responded positively.
On his arrival at Aalo, the minister was also cordially received at PP Resort by the Heads of Offices in the evening and the Minister had detail interaction with DDSE, Principals and Headmasters of the district.
