Minister, MLA takes Stock of YRF2020 Preparedness.

Aalo 15th Jan.:- General Review meeting of the YRF Festival 2020 was held under the Chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan at Conference Hall of DC Aaalo on 14th Jan. last. The festival is scheduled from7th to 9th February.
Attending the meeting Er. Tumke Bagra, Minister Industry & Textile said that festival should not be confined to fun and merry-making without significance, principle and objectives. It should be promotional in nature to attract domestic and foreign tourism in our place. He asked the district administration and police to contain all law and order problem during the three daylong festival so that festival do not generate bad feelings in the name of the festival. The MLA Aalo East Shri Kento Jini lauded the presentations given by the Event Managers and stressed on promotion of traditional art, culture, handicrafts and traditional sports like bamboo rafting to outsiders. The organizers should do it with zeal without any profit motive to make the event successful.
The DC and Chairman of Steering Committee, Shri Abhinav Kumar dwelt at length on preparatory process of the festival. The two Event Managers of the festival Wild Flower Production and Orchids made detail power point presentations on Site plan, Yomgo Accord on coservationd and cleaning of Siyom River and its tributaries, craft workshop, painting, movie screening, discussion and deliberations, essence of tribal food, plastic free festival, PR and promotional activities etc. The DTO Shri T. Kopak and other members also spoke on the occasion.
