NEFTU Observes its 5th Foundation Day.

Aalo Sept. 16:- The North East Frontier University Observed its 3th Foundation Day with Cheer and enthusiasm at its Auditorium Hall on 15th Sept last.
Attending the function as the Chief Guest, Er. Tumke Bagra said that the university has made rapid development in the last five years and effort should be put together to make it a Model University in the district. Merit determines any kind of job in Govt. or private companies and obtaining certificate alone will not help the students in the long run, he said. He appreciated the land donors of the Darka village for university, ITBP and R.K. Mission School in the past and gave away Best Department, Best Teacher and Best Multi Tasker Awards of the University. Responding to two point memorandum pertaining to erection of boundary wall and drinking water problem in the university, he said he will try to take up the matter with concerned department.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Tejum Padu gave detail history and activities of the university and felicitated the land donors of the college. The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan attended the function as Special Guest. Power point presentation on activities of the university, songs , dances on meaningful themes were presented by the university on the auspicious occasion.
