Workshop on Japanese Language and Culture Training conducted at Aalo.

Aalo the 12th March  2024: A first of its workshop on Japanese Language and Culture Training for caregivers was conducted by District administration West Siang in ANM School, Aalo in collaboration with Murasaki center for excellence, a consultancy firm based out of Itanagar. The training has been conducted under the guardianship of Murasaki Center for excellence, MD Ms Minu Ete who has studied and worked in Japan and the placement is managed under the banner of Delhi based sending organization Genrise Global Staffing Pvt. Ltd.

            The workshop was attended by students of ANM School Aalo, Ex-nursing students, parents and student from NEFTU in presence of DC Aalo, Ms Mamu Hage IAS, Smty. Meena Koje(Principal ANM school Aalo) and resource persons and special guests, Smty Jarjum Ete and Shri Tomi Ete. A total for 50 attendees benefited from the workshop.

            A fully sponsored 10 month Japanese Language and Cultural training program for ANM, GNM and BSc Nursing candidates who will work as caregivers in different parts of Japan was launched on June 2023 by the Directorate of Medical Education and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The objective of this flagship program is to empower our youth with technical skill development and financial independence.

            Speaking about the program Ms Minu Ete, MD, Murasaki Center for excellence, said ” The Government has launched second batch of fully sponsored free program for 2024 which shall commence from April. Admission is open now.  ANM, GNM, BSc Nurses between 18-30 years are eligible to apply. This flagship program has concluded as a grand success as the candidates have been interviewed and appeared for their written exams. They will be leaving for Japan to their respective placement destination in the second half of 2024.

            Ms Nency Boje, a BSc Nursing student who will be working in Ishika prefecture of Japan spoke on ” Japanese Language” and Ms Phurba Lhamu Naksang, an alumni of ANM School Aalo gave a presentation on ” Japanese Culture and Society”. She too has successfully cleared her interview round.

            “The workshop was conducted with the intended purpose of providing job opportunities to aspiring or eligible nursing students and ANM students in light of the unemployment situation especially amongst the young in the district. We hope the workshop was beneficial for the students and attendees” said Mamu Hage IAS, DC Aalo.
