3 Days Village Level Community Volunteers training held.

Aalo the 28th August 2024: The three days community volunteers training on Disaster Management and response for one hundred volunteers under 31-Aalo East S/T Assembly Constituency was commenced today at Gumin Kinn Hall Aalo. Smt Mabi Taipodia Jini ADC Aalo graced the programme as Chief Guest. Sri Dorjee Nima DDMO Aalo highlighted the details of the disaster training to the volunteers.
ADC in her speech urged the disaster management volunteers to complete the entire training programme. The Galo tribe practiced the “LANGKA” system since time immemorial. One male Person from the village is look after the village in the entire day, specially for the fire safety LANGKA system is still prevailed in Galo village. Disaster may occur in any time, so she request the volunteers to keep ready to mitigate the time of any calamities.
The training programme on basic of Disaster Management and response for village level community volunteers was jointly organised by District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and District administration. The same training programme will conduct at 30 Aalo West ST Assembly Constituency and 27-Liromoba ST Assembly Constituency.
Total of Nine days will be imparted by the DDMA. The whole training will cover the understanding of Landslide, heat wave, technique of lifting and stabilizing of casualties and how to control the bleeding during any incident.
DDMO request the disaster volunteers to help the person during the time of natural calamities, accident etc.
