38 NGOs/Societies, 85 Individuals Contribute Team West Siang for Covid-19.

Aalo 20 April: – Altogether 38 NGOs/societies and 85 individuals have contributed to Team West Siang for the cause of pandemic Covid-19 in the form of cash, kind and other voluntary services till today. All sectors and colonies of Aalo Town are also involved on voluntary lockdown duties ever since the first phase of lockdown declared on 24th April. They are sincerely monitoring the the flow of men and materials into the respective sectors and colonies 24X7 on roaster basis. A girl who fled from Quarantine Facility and sneaked into Lik Kiin was spotted by the volunteered and sent back with the person where she stayed is relflective and concern of the form towards the dreaded disease and sheer sincerity of the volunteers. The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan also gave a detail briefing to designated Executive Magistrates who are positioned in different locations to fill up the gaps of administrative officers at her office chamber. The District Disaster Management Officer Shri Dorjee Nima disclosed that so far 2124 migrant laborers have been provided with ration from NDRF fund out of targeted 2872. Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association, West Unit in collaboration with NGOs is on distribution spree of masks and awareness on social distancing and campaign is now reaching the villages. The doctors in PHCs and CHCs have also been provided masks to be distributed to innocent rural masses to fulfill the campaign “Masks for All” in the district. A fine of Rs. 100 is being be imposed defaulter or penalized under the appropriate section of the Act.
