167th birthday celebration of Sarada Sri Sri Maa Devi Observe.

Aalo the 23rd Dec: The 167th birthday celebration of Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi was observed in Ramakrishna Mission Aalo on 18th December last. Various programmes were organised in the Main Prayer Hall in presence of 800 devotees, School Management Committee members, students, well-wishers and admirers of the Mission attended the programme. An elaborate Puja & Homa were performed by the Sadhus & Brahmacharins of the Mission with devotional songs by monks, staff and students.
The programme started with Vedic chanting and Stotras by monks followed by lecture on life and teachings of Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi by Swami Yogishwarananda, the Secretary Ramakrishna Mission. A photo exhibition on life and teaching of Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi was also arranged for the visitors. In the evening, special Aarti was performed along with Sankirtan and bhajans. On the occasion, 55 Blankets were distributed to male and female members of nearby villages.
