MOS, DC Flags off Five Ambulances for West Siang and Shi-Yomi Districts.

Aalo 19th March:- In what can be hailed as a major boost to Heath Sectors of interior places of West Siang and Shi- YomiDistrict, five ambulances for Nikte and Liromoba in West Siang, three for Tato, Monigong and Mechuka Health Centers was flagged off by Shri Kiren Rijiju through Video Conferencing from Delhi in presence of ONGC top officials amid fanfare today. The ambulance is funded by ONGC under CSR scheme under the initiative of Shri Kiren Rijiju, MOS (Independent) Sports and Youth Affairs. In his address to the people from Delhi through Video Conferencing, he said that ONGC has been helping us in all noble causes whenever approached and he thanked Ministry of Petroleum for all help to materialize it. The five ambulances will give huge boost to the health sector to evacuate patients in far flung areas for immediate evacuation and stressed on up keep of the ambulances by district administration and Health Department for the services of the needy people of remote areas. The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan who flagged off the ambulances on ground at DC’s Office premises expressed her gratitude for placing five ambulances that will do world of good for evacuating emergency to General Hospital Aalo. The Flagging off Ceremony and privilege of open air Video Conferencing directly with Delhi was nicely managed for onlookers view by the duo of Smti KC Wangmo and Shri Nyaken Ori, DIOs NIC Aalo. The DMO, Dr. Moli Riba also made direct chat with Delhi on placement of the vehicle.
