DC Assesses Progress of Works by ABCI-TTC (JV) Ltd on Potin-Pangin Highway.

Aalo 3rd Nov: The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Shri Moki Loyi paid a day long visit to s\take on the spot assessment of works being undertaken by the ABCI-TTC(JV) Ltd in the 8th Package of Potin-Pangin road today. The construction agency has started the works moment after getting the tender in the said package and huge machineries are being pressed into survive and road cutting works are taking place in many places.
Expressing satisfaction over the zeal of the company to, the DC said that no development is more important than the road works and exhorted the Company to keep up the tempo to complete the road in time. The district administration will always be there to look into law and order problem and he will keep in touch with the GBs of various villages to cooperate the work agencies. He urged the Company also to build good rapport and hear the sentiments of the villagers and public so that works go peacefully without any hindrance. The District administration, Executing Agency, company and civil society have to work in a coordinated manner to see that the long pending Highway works which agitates the minds of people here takes off nicely this time around.
The EE Highway, Er. Kago Salu and AE, Er. Gemar Padu lauded the site visit of DC as exemplary to encourage all to give much needed boost and fillip to work as a cohesive team to complete the project in time bound manner. The representative from ABCI-TTC(JV) Ltd Shri Pobin Padu disclosed that the said stretch of road will be completed before or within the stipulated time and heavy machines and manpower is pouring in and lot of road cutting works have taken place soon after getting the tender. Progress in construction works will be made visible within some months from now, he said. The Companyâs Engineers of various construction wings were also present during the visit.
