West Siang Celebrates Indigenous Faith Day with Pomp and Gaiety.

Aalo 2ND Dec:- The Indigenous Faith Day was observed with traditional at gaity with the participation of senior citzen of Aalo at Gumin Kiin on 1st December last. The senior Citizen Shri Minsi Ete who graced the occasion as Chief Guest stressed on preservation and promotion of our age old faith and culture and exhorted the DPKG to infuse zeal and dynamism among the young generation who are responsible to protect it. Senior Citizen Shri Ejum Karbak, Doi Ado and President IFCSAP Smti Yayum Gangkak stressed on participation in such day by officers and public at large to make it a vibrant movement in the days to come. The opined that financial constraints have been a stumbling block in the process of preservation and documentation of our rich culture and urged all to come forward and contribute generously. A minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to late Miss Omem Bayor and late Dr. Kengo Ori, DRCH who were part of Donyi Polo Faith movement and social works for the society.
The Vice President and Secretary DPKG West Siang appreciated the way the senior citizens like Minsi Ete and Shri Ejum Karbak to donate mithuns for the celebration though it was a low key celebration to due to Covid-19 situation. Flag hoisting, mass prayer, relse of IFCS calendar, audio Album etc marked the daylong celebration.
