Biso Potom former CHGB of Darak Bango and Social Worker of pre-Independence Era is No More.

Aalo 25th Jan:- Shri Biso Potom former Circle Head Goan Bura of Lodu Bango and HGB of Sala Potom who worked constantly as an agent of the govt. and as a true crusader of indigenous faith and culture right from pre-independence era breathed his last today at 12.30 am after prolong illness. He was treated in Appollo Hospital Chennai and Sanjivini Hospital Dibrugarh for multiple Systemic atrophy Disorder. He is survived by his wife, three sons, three daughters and many grand children.
Orphaned in his early life due to early expiry of his father, he grew up under the all adversities and created a niche for himself in social arena to become a GB, then HGB and Circle Head Goan Bura of Darak Bango till his ailment. He worked with late Sushen Pao then BS for social development lodu-Karka area during pre-independence days.
As a senior Loduian, he was proponent of tradition and custom, a great orator, craftsman, statesman, well versed in customary laws. Though he was not educated, he was backed up opening up of schools in the Bango no propiority and set a glaring example of proper parenting in the society to groom on APCS in Administrative grade in Shri Sode Potom, ADPEDA Dy. Director in Somar Potom and a doctor in Soyum Potom from govt scholls of those days.
President KKWS Shri Toyi Raksap and President LAWS Shri Bidu Poyom in their condolence messages have termed his demise as a great loss for the society and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to bereaved family members in this hour of crisis
