Fire Engulfs Five Teachers’ Bachelor Barrack at Nikte

Aalo 11^th January: – In a devastating fire that broke around 3:30 to 4:00 am in the vicinity of Nikte Secondary School, five numbers of Teachers’ Bachelor Barrack have been completely gutted affecting three families today. All properties and a 12 Bore SBBL gun have also been burnt to ashes.

The DDSE West Siang Shri Duken Kato accompanied by Executive Members of Arunachal Teachers’ Association, West Siang Unit rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. The DDSE donated a sum of Rs. 10,000/- to each affected family as immediate family. The ZPM Ubu  Shri Genya Ori also took stock of the situation.

The ATA headed by its President Shri Mardo Bogo and Secretary Shri Kejum Rime also donated Rs. 5000/- each to the affected family from their side as immediate relief. The affected families are now taking shelter in temporary houses. The cause of the fire is not known and no human casualty reported so far.
