DC Gives away Certificates and Medals to State level Taekwondo Winners

Aalo 28^th January:- The Deputy Commissioner West Siang, Shri Penga Tato gave away Medals and Certificates to all Taekwondo Participants  in the 25^th State level Taekwondo Championship held at Sagalee, Papum Pareh District from 11^th to 14^th January last. The participants from the district bagged 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 6 Bronze.

            Shri Jumgam Gamlin Cadet Boys over  65 kg,  Shri Lige Kamki Sub Junior Boys under -35 kg  and  Miss Nyapi Ingo bagged Gold,   Shri Bijom Ngomdir Cadet Boys under – 37kgr,   Shri Tapo Popak Cadet Boys under – 33kg) ,  Shri Gomli Romin Sub- Junior Boys under – 21 kg,   Miss Momoko Tatu  Cadet Girls under – 47kg  and   Miss Sonam Kumari Junior Girls under – 44 kg bagged Silver , and Miss Terngam Bole  Sub-Junior Girls under – 32 kg,   Miss Tobi Ete Cadet Girls under -47 kg,   Shri Doki Ete  Sub- Junior Boys under – 23 kg ,   Shri Moji Naso Sub- Junior Boys under – 44 kg),  Shri Lige Ori Junior Boys Under – 48 kg Bronze,  Rasidul Ali  Sub- Junior Boys under – 50kg brought Bronze Medals for West Siang.

            The DC and Shri Tumto Loyi Sports and Youth Officer exhorted the budding sportspersons to keep the tempo and fare better in future too. The district boys have been doing well for successive years under the tutelage of Shri Margam Karbak, the Technical Director of the West Siang Taekwondo Association.
