GOLDEN JUBILEE MOPIN CELEBRATED AT YOMCHA

Yomcha 18^th April :- The Golden Jubilee Mopin celebration of Yomcha ADC circle under West siang District was kick off with the Mega Health camp at Yomcha on 10^th April 2022 co-partner with Aalo Ane clinic and Heema hospital, Itanagar.  Free distributions of medicines were issued and during the mega health camp the people of 27^th Liromoba Assembly constituency got benefited. Senior Doctors, Specialist from major departments were took part during the Health camp. The Theme of the Golden Jubilee Mopin celebration of Yomcha was “Being traditionally, modern”.

            The Main function of the festival was started from 13^th April to 15^th April. During the welcome moments of the visiting Guest a unique events was introduced by tying of decorated “RIDIN”(a sacred wrist band chanted by Gamgi Nyibo (priest) to the visiting guests for their prosperities.

Mopin attire was organized .An animation Movie would release on Grandfather Kashi Yomcha, The man who was gifted with Mystical power, the most famous priest of Galo tribe.

            The Chief Guest on 13^th April was Shri Phurpa Tsering HMLA Cum Adviser to PWD Minister, Guest of Honour was Sri Tania Soki HMLA

            On 14^th April 2022 The Chief Guest was Shri Jarken Gamlin Rtd. Major General, Member Secretary APCSC Guest of Honour Sri Gojen Gadi ex-Minister.

            On 15^th April, The Chief Guest was Er.Marcony Potom SE Urban development and Guest of honour was Er. Somar Potom Dy. Director APEDA, Aalo.

            The Executive committees of the Golden Jubilee Mopin Celebration of Yomcha  was Sri Nyamar Karbak, HMLA 27^th LiromobaAC, Chief patron, Sri Raksap Yomcha Chief patron, Sri Hento Karga ADC Yomcha Chairman, Sri Jarsa Gamlin President and Sri Kali Yomcha General Secretary. The untiring efforts of these executive members make the Golden Jubilee Mopin celebration successful and remarkable moments.

             It is worth mentioning that first Mopin at Yomcha was celebrated during the year 1972 under the president ship of Sri Rakshap Yomcha and Sri Kali Yomcha as its Mopin Priest. The first Chief Guest of Yomcha Mopin celebration of 1972 was Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. The nephew of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika was also invited during Golden Jublee Mopin celebration 2022 at Yomcha.
