INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CLEAN AIR FOR BLUE AIR observe at Aalo

Aalo, 8th September 2022:- The    3rd International Day of Clean Air for Blue Air with theme”The Air We Share” was observed at General Hospital Aalo, West Siang District. On the Occasion, a Cycling Adventure cum Mass Awareness Programme on air pollution was organized by National Programme on Climate Change For Human Health (NPCCHH) West Siang District Aalo in collaboration with the team of West Siang Cycling Association (WSCA). 

Dr Dubom Bagra , DMO, West Siang District Aalo flag off the Cycling team from General Hospital Aalo. The Cycling Team consists of members from West Siang Cycling Association and General Hospital, Aalo led by Dr. Jumbom Kato District Nodal Officer (NPCCHH) cum Medical Superintendent, and President WSCA. Cycling team covered around 8kms from General Hospital Aalo to Different Colonies and back to GH Aalo. The Team Spread Message regarding  the impact of Air Pollution in human health and appealed to “Say “No to Plastics and Sedentary life Styles” for healthy body and also encourage to adopt Cycling in place of Cars and Motorbikes etc.

During the Day a trees was planted near the OPD Building by all dignitaries led by Shri Dubom Bagra DMO. The Plantlets were supplied by Forest and Wildlife Department, West Siang Aalo.

A certificate of participation were distributed to all the Participants.
