District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee meeting held at Aalo

Aalo, 8^th December 2022:- The District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee (DLAMC) meeting was held at DC conference Hall Aalo. The DLAMC meeting was chaired by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Shri Penga Tato. The DLAMC was attended by Dy. Director Shri Padma Kumar Das UIDAI Regional Office Guwahati.

        Dy Director Padma Kr. Das highlighted the current status of the Aadhaar enrolment of West Siang district. He explained the importance of Aadhaar in our daily routine life. He informed strengthening of Aadhaar ecosystem is underway which will minimize the generation of Aadhaar to illegal migrants, fraudulent of Aadhaar and misusing of UIDAI standard certificate as supporting document to issue Aadhaar to Non-Indian Citizen.

He  also informed UIDAI is Planing to establish Aadhaar Seva Kendras(ASKs) in all District Headquarters.

Various issue like error facing during the enrolment process, verification of Aadhaar etc were discussed during the meeting.

DC advised all the Aadhaar enrolment agencies to be cautioned during enrolment process and be aware of fraudulent call from third party which is happening in Aadhaar also. He thankful the steps for opting Aadhaar Seva Kendras(ASKs) taken by UIDAI. He said such step will help boost up in enrolment of Aadhaar.

The meeting was attended by SP West Siang, HoDs, Bank Staffs, Admin Officers etc.
