Joint meeting to strengthen Pre-School Education in Anganwadi Centres held.

Aalo the 8^th July 2023: Bagra circle, West Siang will soon have a strengthened Anganwadi programme, under a joint effort by the Circle Admin, Education Dept and the Women and Child Development (WCD) department. Joint meeting held by Circle Officer Ms. Asunam Perme, Bagra Circe with the other stake-holders to improve the Pre-Primary education at Bagra Circle. It was also to strategies a plan to Converge Anganwadi centres with the Primary schools of Bagra Circle. It was aimed to improve Pre-primary school education and also to make non-functional Anganwadi centres vibrant and functional.

After threadbare discussion the house unanimously decided that the Head teachers/Teacher In-Charge shall be supporting the Anganwadi workers/helpers to improve their performance, a proposal for training of Anganwadi staffs was placed and the new academic session will start from August 2023.

Members present were DDSE West Siang Shri Yidak Angu, CDPO Cum DD In-charge, West Siang Shri Bahi Koyu, Coordinator Pedagogy/Pre-Primary School West Siang Shri Gumin Kamki, BEO Shri Henli Bagra, Supervisor, CDPO, Aalo West, as well as Head teachers of various schools and Anganwadi centres workers/helpers of Bagra circle.
