Gandhi Jayanti Organised at Aalo

Aalo the 2^nd October 2023: The 154^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was observed at Aalo DC office complex in grand way. Gandhi Jayanti was organised by Sarva Dharam Prathana Sabha, prabhat pherry of students of various school.

            During the programme floral tribute to the portrait of Father of Nation. All religion from central Kargu Gamgi Aalo, St. Mary Parish, Shiv Mandir Kirtan Group and Jama Masjid Aalo were performed prayer song.

            Deputy Commissioner West Siang Penga Tato in his speech appealed the public of West Siang to maintain the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He urged the people to follow the principle of Mahatma Gandhi also to maintain the religion harmony among various religion.

            West Siang ZPC Sri Tumpe Ete also spoke on the occasion.

On 1^st October mass cleanliness drive of Aalo Township was organised in various sectors and markets area.

            During the program admin officers, HoD’s, Officials and Indian Army were attended the celebration.
