West Siang Police arrests accused from Cooch Behar.

Aalo the 18^th October 2023: On 17^th October 2023 West Siang Police arrested one accused Mitun Barman and rescued the victim of Kamba POCSO case from Cooch Behar, West Bengal. A team was formed by SP West Siang Shri Abhimanyu Poswal, IPS comprising of ASI P.Basar, HC (D) T. Yomcha, L/Ct Marbom Bogo and Ct. J Karga. The team had left Aalo three days earlier and made the recovery.

            In yet another such rescue operation on 13th of this month, West Siang Police rescued a women victim of Aalo PS Missing Case from Laluk, Lakhimpur Assam wherein a team led by SI L. Mena had successfully conducted the rescue operation under the supervision of OC D. Bagra and SP West Siang.

            SP appealed the public to be sensibly cautious in their interaction with outsiders especially through social media and in matters of dealing in money and other transactions.
