Drug Awareness camp held at Angu Village

Aalo the 10th December 2023: In a collaborative effort to address the dual challenges of Drug abuse and to guide the youth towards meaningful careers, the Alumni Association of SFS college Aalo organized a One day Drug Awareness cum career counselling was conducted here at Angu Village, West Sing District on 10th December 2023 under the leadership of Mr. Kappil Kamsi, the organising secretary in collaboration with mother’s Vision, SFS College, Alumni Forum, All Angu Kamsi Students Union and all PRI members of Angu Village.
Mr. Kennedy Bagra of Mother Vision NGO, shedding light on the detrimental effects of Drug abuse and the importance of community involvement in combating this social challenge. He further said that “Mother Vision activities provided a firsthand look at the efforts being made to create awareness and support affected by substance abuse.
The Alumni President, Mr Kappil Kamsi shared valuable insights and experiences, inspiring the students to pursue paths that align with their passions and skills.
Asst. Professor Inkey Tayeng from SFS college, Kemmar Bagra Inspector Aalo police and Fr. Jose Karipadathu, Principal SFS College also spokes during the awareness programme.
