Dissemination of Awareness Videos on POCSO Act, 2012 and PCMA, 2006 held.

Aalo the 26^th August 2024:  The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), West Siang organized a long month Dissemination awareness programme / campaign on POCSO Act, 2012 and PCMA, 2006 covering 10 (ten) educational institution in the West Siang District on 24th July 2024 to 24th August 2024.

             In the programme, videos on various critical provisions of the POCSO Act, 2012 and PCMA, 2006 has been displayed in every schools along with orientation of these Act has been given by the Resource person Adv. Marphy Ete, member JJB, Adv. Mijum Doke, Legal cum Probation Officer and Ms. Mongam Nomuk, Counsellor DCPU. In addition to this, hoarding on Child Helpline number 1098 and Good Touch & Bad Touch has been installed in the schools in order to disseminate safeguard available for protection of child rights.

            The programme has been successfully conducted with the Team work of all DCPU staffs.
