Aalo Still hit by Water Crisis for last One Week.

Aalo 10th Dec: – The water consumers of Aalo town is still bracing through a tough time to manage water for the last week after main D.I. 300 mm main water pipeline was disrupted for the second time to heavy land filling and formation cutting of road from Nigmoi to SFS College. The PHED source disclosed that complete restoration may take a day or two to connect all pipelines and fill up the empty water tanks.
The pipes are said to be buried due to earth cutting works and heavy landslides works going on on the road construction works which is aligned just above and along the main pipelines. The two JCBs are regularly placed to to clear the buried pipelines. The leakages in all pipe joints are adding woes for the restoring PHED department. The road construction is under the supervision of PWD Aalo Division and district administration has also given specific direction to the department to look into such such damages that affect the populace of Aalo Township in a detail meeting with Public Work Department in her office chamber.
