ATPWDS Greets New DC, Welfare Issues Concerning Aalo Town to be Placed soon

The Aalo Town Peoples’ Welfare and Development Society Led by its Chairman Shri Kento Ete met West Siang Deputy Commissioner Shri Penga Tato at his office Chamber and cordially welcomed him and apprised him of burning isssues to be taken up by him.
Overwhelmed by the by the gesture shown to him by the senior members of Aalo Town, the DC said that he will be always be there for the growth, development and welfare of the people of the district and do whatever is possible from his side. Any meaningful services in the district can be rendered by the DC only with cooperation of senior citizen, PRIs, Youth and developmental agencies in the district. Peace and tranquility is a pre-requisite to take up developmental and welfare activities and urged to the society members represented by Ex. Ministers, retired govt. servants, PRIs and public leaders to play proactive role and cooperate administration build a congenial atmosphere to take up welfare measures and sort out any problems sitting across the table stating that his door is open for all.
The Chairman ATPWDS Shri Kento Ete said that the society has been taking up many welfare measures concerning welfare of the people since its inception but there are certain issues where administrative and public leaders’ intervention is quite necessary. He disclosed that the society will soon place agenda of issues concerning Aalo town and appealed DC to look into those issues on merit.
The former Minister and Chief Advisor ATPWDS, Shri Doi Ado said that issue like drug menace among youth, inordinate delay in construction of stadium and above all disruption and isolation of the district from the rest during this monsoon has been unprecedented and we need to draw a comprehensive plan to do away such natural calamity in future.
