Darak Prepares to Host Maiden Eco-Tourism and Angling Festival.

Aalo 14th October: – The tiny Darak Circle is buzzing with hectic activities to host maiden Eco-Tourism cum Angling Festival at Sibu-Siyik confluence from 23rd to 25th October. The festival is jointly organized by Lodu Ao Welfare Society and Young Mission Adventure Club to open up Sight Seeing to Holy Site of Benji Liine, Penru (Bat Cave), Tak Soi(Pigeon Home), trekking, hiking, rock climbing, bird watching, cultural shows and exhibition of local cuisines at reasonable rates. Many angling experts from different places are likely to take part in the Angling Competition that will provide cash prizes of Rs. 50,000, 30,000 and 20,000 to three best anglers of the festival. Paid tents are also being arranged at riverside and other places for halt to adventure loving guests.
The Chairman of Young Mission Adventure Club Yomjum Yomgam, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Shri Nyakar Raksap, the President LAWS Shri Bidu Poyom and Convenor Shri Bade Potom have appealed anglers and adventure loving people to be a part of three day long maiden event in the district.
