DC calls for Creating a Plastic Free Environment.

Aalo 3rd October: – The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan has appealed people to create a plastic free environment through awareness drive at all work places segregating plastic waste at source generation and hand over segregated plastic waste to Waste collectors at a big gathering of officials, NGOs, SHGs, Market Committees, representatives of Sectors and colonies at Nehru Chowk on Gandhi Jayanti. She also administered the pledge for Plastic free Environment to all on the occasion.
The DFO Shri Abhinav Kumar and Executive Engineer, Urban Development and Housing, Er Hally Weli stressed on use on reuse of plastic through Waste Collectors and appealed all to refrain from using plastic carry bag below 50 microgram, avoid burning of plastic and littering plastic at public , historical and religious places. Chairman Mother’s Vision Smti Jumde Yomgam stressed on cleanliness and awareness among the youths to play constructive roles.
