DC Issues Travel Advisory to Passengers from the District

Aalo 12th Dec: – Keeping in view of agitation by various groups, students’€™ Unions and organisation against the passing of Citizen Amendment Bill in parliament, the West Siang Deputy Commissioner has issued a Travel Advisory to all passengers to move out of the district to Assam in consultation with Superintendent of Police Aalo , Officer in In charge of Police Station Aalo and Additional Deputy Commissioner before venturing out via Assam till the situation returns to normalcy. It has been reported that agitators are blocking the roads and damaging vehicles in many points at areas of Assam. The passenger buses and sumos that plied on 11th Dec last from many places were stopped and all passengers were stranded on road and faced lot of problems.
