DC Launches SRI, Visits PSA Plant Installation at GH Aalo

On 4^th October:  The West Siang District Commissioner Shri Penga Tato launched the Special Routine immunization and visited the  PM Care PSA  Plant installation  along with DMO, doctors and Nurses at General Hospital today.

            The DC appreciated the way Medical Department is gearing up to take up routine immunization, Covid-19 vaccination, facilities for patients and infrastructural growths in the General Hospital Aalo.  The immunization for various ailments have been able to contain many diseases of the past and exhorted all to work constantly to improve health delivery system in the district.

            The District Medical Officer, Dr. Dubom Bagra disclosed that PM Care PSA plant installation is ready for inauguration all over India by the Prime Minister of India on 7th October. The PSA Plant can generate 500 litres per minute and oxygen needs of the general Hospital can be met by filling up from the plant. The DG set with a power back up of 200 KVA has also been installed. He said that district has not much of left out children to complete routine immunization process and people not taking the Covid-19 vaccination on personal reasons are being persuaded to take the vaccine for future safety.
