DEO Conducts Meeting with Political Parties for Smooth Conduct of PR Election.

Aalo17thNov:- The West Siang District Election Officer Shri Moki Loyi conducted a detail meeting with political parties for peaceful, fair and free Panchayat Poll at Conference Hall of DC office today.
Shri Loyi said that role and responsibility of political parties in the election process is very important to disseminate required information to the grass root leaders who are contesting the election. He urged all political parties to keep in touch with the respective ROs for all required information and maintain all Model Code of Conduct in conducting a fair election. The DPDO Shri Liyi Bagra districted the copies of Model Code of Conduct to all political Parties and appealed them to play key roles on any misconception arising out of petty issues. All candidates will be issued Nomination paper from 24th Nov and candidates can file nomination upto 2nd December.
The representatives from Political parties also shared their views basing on the difficulties faced by them in the past elections.
