District Level Games&Sports under CMSSY gets Underway.

Aalo Sept. 12:- The District Level Games and Sports competition under Chief Minister’€™s Samast Shiksha Yojna got off to a flying start at Govt. H.S.School Aalo ground after it was was inaugurated by the West Siang Deputy Commissioner today. Altogether four Blocks comprising Aalo East, Aalo West, Kamba Darak, Yomcha Liromoba from West Siang and Monigong and Mechuka from Shi-Yomi district are taking part in the three long Games and Sports meet from 13th to 15th Sept.
Attending the inaugural ceremony, West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan said that games and sports are integral part of life and such event should be able to spot sports talent of the district. The West Siang DDSE Shri Eto Ete ete spelt out the objective behind organizing such event and exhorted the players to give their to expose the hidden sports talents through such competition.
The three days long event opened up with football, volleyball and various field and track events for Upper Primary schools of different blocks. The principals, Headmasters, BEOs and teachers from different blocks also witnessed the competition.
