District Level Training Programme People’s Campaign Held

On 19^th October: A DISTRICT LEVEL TRAINING PROGRAMME themed “PEOPLE’S PLAN CAMPAIGN SABKA VIKAS SABKI YOJANA FOR ZPMs and GPC (Gram Panchayat Chairperson) of  West Siang District was conducted today  at ZPC Conference Hall in which all ZPMs and ZPCs of West Siang District attended. The lecture on topics viz Fifteen Finance Commission(FFC), GPDP(Gram Panchayat Development Plan, PMAY(G) and MGNREGA was delivered by District Master Trainers MS NYAJUM JINI, PTA, SHRI JUMGE NYODU, EO(RE) and Shri KARBA KAMKI, EO(RE).

In the interaction session, the ZPMs and GPCs raised the queries and doubts on doubts on CSS programmes. The ZPMs also gave word of advice to the GPCs.

While participating in the training Shri Babon Romin, Zilla Parishad Chairperson, 8- AALO West Siang Zilla Parishad expressed his gratitude to the Government for devolution of power on SPICE MODEL to the Panchayat. He also highlighted the provision of devolution of powers. Along with all ZPMs and GPCs, he also requested the Government to take initiatives for early completion of General Ground, Aalo.

The one day District level was organized by the District Panchayat Development Officers Office. The PD cum DPDO, West Siang District also spoke on the importance of all CSS Programme.
