Draw of Lot for Women reservation for Panchat Conducted.

Aalo March 17:- Draw of Lot for Women Reservation for the Panchat Poll in the district had been worked out under the close supervision of DEO(PR) and DPDO Shri Liyi Bagra at Conference hall of DC Aalo and notification has been served to all political parties. The draw was conducted in presence of a 14 members Committee consisting officers, women representatives and public with full proof videography to authenticate the free and fair procedure. A-Nyiko Lower, 2A Aalo East Upper, 4-Aalo West Pubu Yombu, 6A-Yomcha and 8A-Kamba was declared women reserved seat through Draw of Lot. The Gram Chairperson seats of Aalo Easat Lower, 1A- Nyiko Lower, 2-Aalo East Upper, 2A- Aalo East Upper, 3-Aalo West Pushi, 3A-Aalo East Pushi, 4-Aalo West Pubu Yombu, 5-Aalo West Ubu, 5A-Aalo West Ubu, 6-Liromoba, 6A-Yomcha, 8-Darak, 8A-Kamba and 8B- Upper Kamba have gone for women reservations. The 30 reserved seats for Gram Panchayat Members were also worked out through draw of lot that took twelve hours from morning to evening.
