First Siang Basin Consultative Meeting on Youth Policy held at Aalo

Aalo: 7th August 2024, The first basin wise consultative meeting for formulation of Innovative State Youth Policy 2024(Siang Chapter) was conducted at D.C conference hall Aalo Chaired by Hage Mamu, IAS Deputy Commissioner Aalo and organized by Department of Youth Affairs Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University, Dr. K.P Singh Associate Professor (RGU presented the State govt Youth Policy in the Power Point Presentation . As the State government declared the year 2024 as ‘Year of the Youth “. During the consultative meeting Sri Ramesh Lingi, Director Youth Affairs highlighted the state Youth Policy to the participant. Lower Siang D.C Sri Rujjum Raksap urged that Youths of the state are to be engage in various sectors also foundation of good education for every students and calendar events should be organize in every schools and villages.
Deputy Commissioner West Siang Hage Mamu, IAS said that skill development for Youths to be taken up. Youths of the State must take advantage of information Technology for positive impact in life. Career counseling and vocational training is important for the Youths of present day. .
During the consultative meeting representative from various CBO’S, NGO’s student organizations, administrative Officers from various districts share their innovative youth policies, ideas and valuable suggestions. The same meeting will be conduct in all over the state like Kameng, Subansiri, Lohit, basin respectively.
The Consultative meeting was attended by D.C West Siang, D.C Lower Siang Prince Kumar, IAS Assistant Commissioner. Representative from RGU, Rono Hill, NGOs CBO,s and students organization from SI Yomi, West Siang , Siang , Leparada and East Siang, Upper Siang and Lower Siang district and DSO (sports) attended the meeting .
Sri Tomo Riba Adll. Deputy Commissioner Kamba thanks all the dignitaries of various district and appealed them to encourage the Youth for their livelihood.
