Four Bedded ICU of General Hospital Aalo Commissioned.

Aalo 03 May: -In a big boost to health delivery service,the four-bedded Intensive Care Uni of Aalo General Hospital has been commissioned after its inauguration by Er. Tumke Bagra Minister Industry, Textile and Handicraft amid cheer and applause today. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the the provision for ICU in General Hospitals of the state was a Cabinet decision to review the health scenario in the state during this pandemic Covid-19 and effort will be made to equip those ICUs in the state by posting Medicine Specialists and expert technicians to run it effectively. It is important to make it functional as patients from neighboring districts will also come to avail the facility here. He also appreciated the role played by the APDA during the lock down period for their relentless work and urged the Team West Siang to give awareness on quarantine protocols to be maintained by the people coming from outside in large number into the
district. Team spirit matter most in such a crisis situation and appealed all to work under the district administration. The West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Swetika Sachan hailed it as a land mark event initiated by the govt. in this crisis period and it will go a long way in catering emergency medical needs of the critical patients. DMO Dr. Moli Riba and Medical Superintendent Dr. Linya Lollen said that the district is privileged to get ICU and posting of technicians and training of few selected nurses will be given to make it operational and they extended their gratitude to RWD and Electrical departments for their support in completing in a time bound manner.
