ICDS Conducts Awareness programme on Legal Adoption.

Aalo 27thNov. An Awareness programme attended at large by Chairperson Mother Vision, President and General Secretary of APWWS Aalo, members of CWC & JJB and other stakeholder of CPS on Legal Adoption was conducted in the office of DD ICDS cum DCPU, Aalo today and While citing on the purpose and observing the month November 2020 as Adoption Month, the DD ICDS cum DCPO, Aalo Smt. C. Tangjang urged all Women representatives of APWWS, Aalo, Mother’s Vision, and others to spread awareness about Legal Adoption among the Public and ensure that all cases of Adoption are legalized in the district. She also briefed them about the Child Protection Society existing in the District which is the main body to ensure that adoption in the District is legal. Further, Legal cum Probation Officer Shri Mijum Doke spoke on Legal Procedure on Adoption and other Laws relating to Adoption, Protection Officer Shri Dege Kamki highlighted about impact on Adoption, Counselor Smt. Mongam Nomuk Spokes on Need of Counselling for PAPs. The Chairperson Mother Vision, Smti Jumde Yomgam Gamlin President APWWS West Siang Branch, Smti Marbom Riba Bagra also shared their views on Adoption.
