Aalo 27th June: – The International day for drug abuse and trafficking was observed by Motherâs Vision, an NGO themed ”Better knowledge for Better cure” amid enthusiasm on 26th June last. The Chairperson of Mother’s Vision, Resource Person Shri Kennedy Bagra along with Executive members of the NGO launched a Recovery Club on the auspicious occasion.
The members opined that the early part of recovery addicts are crucial and lack of protective environment, socialization process, proper connectivity and communication pose hurdle for the addicts and alcoholics people in the initial stage. The Recovery Club is an innovative platform designed to give them such scope for fun, sharing and develop certain skill essential for the recovery addicts to come out of seclusion and face social life after coming back on track. This Recovery Club has separate room for sharing’s, fun for the inmates, rooms for skill learning and other amenities like kitchen, toilets with attached bath that have come up on voluntary basis.
The Drug Rehabilitation and Recovery Club are run by the recover addicts till they are in a position to handle all affairs before being discharged from the centre under the guidance of Shri Kennedy Bagra who single handedly manage the internal affairs of the camp and center.
