Jarbom Gamlin Indoor Stadium Yomcha to Host DBC.

Aalo 8th August:- The District Badminton Championship 2019 themed “€œDiscipline, duty and Sportsmanship Spirit through Badminton” will be held at Jarbom Gamlin Indoor Stadium, Yomcha on 17th and 18th of this month. The venue and itinerary of the event was finalized under chairmanship of Dr. K. Rina at BN Club Aalo for Badminton events like U-9 yrs-Boys & Girls (Single & Double), U-11 yrs-Boys & Girls Single & Double, U-13 yrs- Boys & Girls Single & Double, U-15 yrs- Boys & Girls Single & Double, U-17 yrs- Boys & Girls Single & Double, U-19 yrs- Boys & Girls Single & Double and Open category-Men & Women Single & Double & Mixed doubles.
Fees for Rs.500/-Single & Rs 1000/- will be charged for Open category doubles & Mixed doubles, U-15 to 19 yrs Rs-200/-&Double Rs.500/- will be realized and U-9-13 yrs will get free entry. Certificate and Medal with Cash is being worked out and Selection of players for upcoming Dorjee Khandu Badminton Championship will be done from the participating players by selection committee assigned by DBA West Siang.
Last Date of submission for application form is 15th Aug’ and players from West Siang and Shi Yomi District can only take part in this tournament. Resource and funding mobilization will be done by Executive body and senior members of the DBA West Siang and Officer’s Badminton Club, Yomcha will assist DBA for smooth conduct of the tournament.
