Late JTMVT for Men and Women Gets Underway at Keak

Aalo the 19 July:- The first ever Late Er. Jumtum Tato Memorial Volley Tournament for men and women, organised by Keak Youth Club got off to a flying start at Keak. Altogether 31 teams from various villages under 27th Liromoba and few neighbouring villages of Siang district are in the fray. The tournament is being sponsored by the family of former Chief Engineer of Power department, late Jumtum Tato who breathed his last after prolonged illness on 12th August last.
Dr. Nyage Geyi, DMO, Shri Tumto Loyi, DASO and KKSU President Tuko Gako who attended the occasion as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Special Guest respectively exhorted the participants to take part in the tournament with true sportsmanship spirit. Hailing late Er. as the man of principle, integrity and peace loving, they advised the youth to emulate his feats for the larger interest of the society, state and nation. The family members, Organising committe members also spoke on the life of late Er. Jumtum Tato. One minute silence was also observed by the participants as a mark of respect to the noble soul.
