Many Districts in Western Parts face Communication Bottlenecks

Due to incessant rains for the last few days , many districts  Shi- Yomi,West Siang, Lepparada, Siang are facing acute communication bottlenecks in as Aalo Pangin road is totally blocked, the Aalo- Likabali road is snapped for the last three days.

The only alternative roads available are Rumgong-Boleng-Mariyang road via Pasighat. The route is so lengthy and road condition too is bad shape in many stretches of the said road and blocks too occur here and there to keep the passengers for a long time. The Sumo that start from Itanagar early in the morning reaches Aalo at 11 to 12 pm due to long journey and road cutting works in the night time in some places. The commuters are bracing through tough times during this monsoon. The land slides are massive and take lot of time to clear it due to intervention of rains.
