Mega Health Camp conducted at Kamba

Kamba the 01st February 2025: An Integrated Mega Health Camp jointly organized by the District Health Society in collaboration with District Administration and the 356  Army Field Hospital, Aalo was successfully conducted on 31st January 2025 at CHC Kamba West Siang District. The camp was initiated by Ms Mamu Hage, IAS Deputy Commissioner West Siang, on instructions of Shri Pema Khandu Honourable Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh with the goal of providing comprehensive health care services and facilitating access to essential government schemes and registrations.

            The health camp was inaugurated by Shri Pesi Jilen, HMLA 27th Liromoba Constituency. In his address, he expressed appreciation for the State Government and District Administration for organizing the camp and urged the public to avail themselves of the free medical services provided. He also emphasized the importance of registering under the Chief Minister Arunachal Arogya Yojana(CMAAY) which provides free medical treatment to eligible beneficiaries.

            Shri Tamo Riba, ADC Kamba delivered the welcome address, and Dr Tomar Kamki, DMO Aalo outlined the objectives of the camp, highlighting its focus on accessible and holistic health care for all.

            The camp witnessed a significant turnout with over 989 patients receiving free medical consultations and treatments. A dedicated team of specialist doctors from various department and a fully equipped dental team led by Col. Dr. Kissinger Maring Commanding Offier, 356 Army Field Hospital provided oral health services.

            During the camp HMLA Pesi Jilen Launched the 100 Days Intensified TB Elimination Campaign. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to eradicating tuberculosis and enhancing early detection and treatment in the region.
