Mega Health Mela organised in West Siang District.

Aalo the 1st October 2024: Joining the rest of the District of Arunachal Pradesh, the Mega Health Mela was organised at the Old Market Parking Lot in Aalo, West Siang District. The event was inaugurated by Ms Mamu Hage IAS, Deputy Commissioner of West Siang accompanied by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), District Medical Officer, Head of Departments (HoD), and prominent public leaders. More than 1467 patients were benefitted during the Health Mela camp.
The mela provided a comprehensive range of Medical services including blood investigations and free distribution of medicines to those in need. This initiative demonstrated the collective commitment to improving healthcare accessibility in the region.
Similar Health Melas have been successfully organized in Kamba also where more than 236 needy villagers were benefitted.
The Mega Health Mela in Aalo serves as a shining example of collaborative efforts to enhance healthcare services in the region. With the active participation of local authorities, medical professionals and community leaders, such events can significantly impact the well-being of residents.
