Mentor Secretary of West Siang attended District review meeting

Aalo the 23^th February 2025: Shri C.N Longphai, (IAS) Commissioner (Home) Mentor Secretary, West Siang District. Chaired the District level review meeting at DC Conference hall Aalo on 22nd February 2025, Deputy Commissioner, West Siang Mamu Hage, IAS brief about the west Siang Dstrict and Smty Mabi Taipodia Jini, ADC welcome the mentor secretary and HOD’s of West Siang District.

             Shri C.N  Longphai (IAS) Commissioner (Home) and Mentor secretary  of West Siang on two days official visit to the West Siang. On 21st February he visited the projects of Aalo township like construction of 60 bedded General Hospital, Mini Secretary, outdoor stadium etc along with Deputy Commissioner West Siang and HOD’s.

            During the meeting mentor secretary informed the executing agencies to completed all the major projects of West Siang in time and not to compromise the quality of works, also he urged all the executing agencies to give special focus to achieve maximum physical work at least 60% within this financial year. Also informed the RWD department to maintain time line as it is mandatory in PMGSY and progress report is to be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.   

            Shr Topin Ete, HMLA, during the meeting said that sports complex at Darka is in defunct condition and informed that he will manage the funds for proper functioning of the sports complex.

            The mentor secretary directed all the departments to submit the details of the projects along with latest photography and any proposal of the projects and schemes submitted to govt. must be  routed through Deputy Commissioner, West Siang and it is made mandatory. Proper marketing of horticulture products is to be streamline  for exports.

            To make West Siang a developed District he urged all the departments to complete all the major projects and flagship schemes of the govt. to complete in time. After the review meeting the Mentor secretary accompanied by Mamu Hage Deputy Commissioner West Siang, S.P Shri Kardak Riba HOD’s physically inspected the NH13 Viaducts at Bagra  Major infrastructures of 30 Aalo West constituency and 27 Liromoba Constituency.

            The review meeting was attended by Shri Topin Ete, MLA, Deputy Commissioner, West Siang, Mamu Hage, Shri Kardak Riba S.P, Smty Mabi Taipodia Jini, ADC Admin Officers, all head of Departments.
