National Youth Day Observed at Aalo

Aalo on 12^th  January 2023 : National Youth Day  also known as Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated here at Aalo in Gumin Kiin to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

            Sri Henkir Lollen ADC i/c DC Aalo Flag off the Procession of Ramakrishnan Mission School and VKV School Aalo.

            During the Celebration, a District Level Traditional Dance Competition (DLTDC) with the theme “Preservation of Indigenous faith and culture” was  organized among seven circles of West Siang District. Attending the celebration as Chief Guest Smty Jumyir Ronya Kato, EAC Kamba, appeals the youth to preserve the rich culture and tradition.

            Chief Speaker (Prant Sanskrit Manch Pramukh Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti) Sri Sangey Tashi thongdok also spokes on the occasion.

            Kamba Circle got the 1st Prize of Dance competition while Kombo Circle got the 1st Prize of Drama Competition.

Chief Guest Jumyir Ronya Kato gave away the prizes to the winners.

            All the students and faculty members from VKV Jirdin and RK Mission School were participated during the day.

            The National youth day was organized by Arun Jyoti Vivekananda Kendra  Branch Aalo under the guidance of Sri Doi Kamduk District Coordinator.
