One Day Legal Awareness conducted at Liromoba

Aalo the 13th January 2024: Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society West Siang District Aalo Branch and Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society Liromoba unit in collaboration with Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women organized a “ One Day Legal Awareness programme” with theme “ know your rights and fight for your rights “ here at Liromoba in West Siang District on 13th January 2024.
Smty Roge Ado, General Secretary,APWWS, Aalo branch spoke about difference between APSCW and APWWS.
Smty Hoksum Ori, APCWS former member spoke on economic empowerment of women.
Adv. Dege Kamki and Shri Babom Romin ZPM Liromoba were also spoke.
Ms Nabam Yani Tad, Hon’ble Vice Chairman APSCW spoke on good relationship between husband and wife, protection of domestic violence act 2005,sexual harassment Act 2013, prevention of polygamy, prevention of child marriage.
Smty Kenjum Pakam, Hon’ble Chairperson, APSCW Itanagar spoke on compulsory education, marriage registration. She urge women to become self-reliant and encouraged the women to fight for their right.
Amongst other Smty Nyasur Gamlin Romin President APWWS Liromoba Unit, EAC Liromoba, members of APWWS and APSCW Aalo branch, HoD’s, NGO’s, SHGs, Students etc were attended the awareness programme.
