One Day Sensitization cum Orientation programme held at Aalo

Aalo the 12^th March 2025: The District Health Society of West Siang organised ” Sentization cum Orientation Programme at Conference hall of General Hospital Aalo. The programme was organised for PRI’s Members of Aalo circle and Block Education Officers of West Siang. The programme was conducted by District Tobacco Control cell and District Mental Health unit under the banner of District Health Society.

            During the technical Session details of harmful effects of tobacco, COTPA Act 2003 was imparted. DPO urged all the members to actively initiate on tobacco free village declaration, implementation of ToFEI, issues and social causes of Mental Health was also discussed.

            Sri Tumpe Ete ZPC West Siang, Eken Bam CO graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

            Sri Moge Bole DySP , Yidak Angu DDSE , Dr. Karken Rina MS ZGH and PRI members attended the programme.
