PAWS Observes its Foundation Day.

Aalo the 20th Dec: – The Paktu Ao Welfare Society celebrated its foundation Day at Paktu Liin and Paktu Heritage Centre Aalo with traditional fervour and gaiety today. The Priest invoked prayers and rich ritual chanting at Paktu Liin with garlanding the portraits of Ato Paktu and the Liin. The womenfolk came with local beverages and rhythmical Ponu Ponu was performed around Paktu Liin in which all serving, retired govt. officers, village elders and public participated.
The society members then marched to Paktu Heritage Centre near Aalo Craft Centre where a mass meeting was was held to commemorate the day. The President PAWS Shri kento Ete and Secretary Shri Kirdo Ete gave their goodwill messages to the clan members urged all to strive for the welfare of the society and contribute whatever they can to the development and welfare of the aalo town.
