PHED Restores Damaged Pipelines do away Water Crisis at Aalo Town.

Aalo 13th Nov: – The Department of PHE has restored the 300 mm dia D.I. pipes, main water supply main line that caters water needs of Aalo Township on 12th Nov. The water supply is provided this morning after few days of acute water supply crisis due to massive erosion and landslides caused by road cutting works along the stretch where main pipes are laid. This the main water source to feed Aalo Township from Ene River.
The department officials from PHED were constantly engaged for days together and PWD department also gave logistic support in the restoration works. The damage took place after formation cutting of road Nigmoi to Aalo and the land where the pipelines are laid triggered the loose soil in the area for a massive landslide damaging the main water pipelines.
