Poetry and Story Telling Session Conducted as a Part of AL&AF 2019.

Aalo 30th Sept: – The Representative from Arunachal Literature and Art Festival 2019, Miss Kary Padu in close coordination with West Siang Police organized one day Open Air Workshop on Poetry and Story Telling Session West Siang Deputy Commissioner Smti Sachan launched District De worming Day from Parents’€™ Hope English Academy School Dego kamki and Poshan Mah and Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara from Dego Kamki Dere amid fanfare on 25th Sept last.

Inaugurating the day, the DC stressed on adequate coverage of all children under all age groups so that children do not suffer from all worm related ailments. The National Flagship programmes should be taken up seriously and taken to its logical conclusion in the district, she said. The DMO Dr, Moli Riba said that Ayushman Bharat Pakhwara encompasses series of people centric Health welfare measures and appealed all to reap maximum benefit from the programmes.

The Dy. Director In Charge Shri Bahe Koyu dwelt at length on Poshan Mah and asked all Anganwadis to work hand in hand with stakeholders at various level to provide nutritions to mother and child. The DFWO Dr. Tomar kamki sensitized the parents and children on worm related ailments and exhorted teachers,parents and public for all cooperation in administering the dozes to children. Dr. Jumbom Kato, DSO Surveillance spoke on substance Abuse and its effect on Society. The teachers and few students also spoke in appreciation for launching the programme in their school. Former Minister Shri Lijum Ronya, GBs, Public and Anganwadi workers of Kamba also took part. At Dego Kamki Dere Health Check up on Blood sugar, Pressure, uric acid, Hemeoglobin, nicotine was carried out.
