“Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi” Programme Organise at Aalo

Aalo the 19th July 2024: Department of Women and Child Development, West Siang District, Aalo conducted a programme “Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi” from 16th of July to 18th of July 2024 at Gumin Kinn, Aalo to Anganwadi Workers of West Siang District & Gensi ICDS Project.
Y Bagra, CDPO Liromoba gave orientation on “POSHAN BHI PADHAI BHI”& EECE. Shri DojumRiba, Instructor imparted awareness on Introduction and Development Areas/ Activities/Structure in AWCs & Home Visit.
Dr. Jumpie Ete as a Resource Person addressed Malnutrition and Importance of Nutrition in Children (0-6 years), Pregnant & Lactating Mothers and Adolescents. She also spoke on Screening Divyang Children and their Inclusion.
Shri Horda Jini, CDPO Aalo East spoke about Parental Engagement and Community Mobilization for ECCE & POSHAN.
Smty.Y.R Ete, CDPO, Aalo West emphasized on proper conducting & importance of Growth Monitoring.
Tongam Riba, Supervisor gave a proper demonstration on using POSHAN Tracker 20.4, 20.6, while Shri Toli Riba, LDC Aalo West trained the AWWs on Supportive Supervision. SA/SUP/GS Aalo West and Aalo East gave hands on training to AWWs on TLM.
There were around 300 members who actively participated in the programme including Supervisors, Gram Sevikas, AWWs from ICDS Project, West Siang District Aalo & Gensi ICDS Project.
