Retired IRS Revisits, Encourages Students

On 2nd October:   Shri Doli Loyi, retired IRS and one of the prominent alumni of Govt. H.S. School Aalo revisited his second Alma Mater and interacted with students of higher classes on various issues and values of life on 1st October last.

          Elated Loyi simply termed it as a homecoming and a privilege for him to address the young minds besides nice experience to visit the temple of learning where he had best of his times in his schooling days after long years of isolation from it. He exhorted the students to create a congenial teaching-learning atmosphere to excel in academic pursuits and co-curricular activities to fit themselves as worthy members of the society. The school has a rich legacy of producing good academicians, sports persons and artists in the past and present generation should draw inspiration to excel in all parameters of life.

          The Principal of the School, Shri Hormo Ete said that presence of such alumnus will always inspire and motivate the students to march forward with a vision and mission in life. Shri Doli Loyi was general Secretary of the Students’ union of the school, Sergeant Major, NCC Junior Division, achieving the unique feat of being the Chief of uniformed and civilian dispensation in his schooling days besides being talented students of the school to bag prizes in essay, debate, extempore speeches. He was also a talented sportsperson to represent the state in National Level Subroto Mukherjee Football.
